MPO Breakout cable is designed to provide a more flexible multi-fiber cabling system based on MPO products. Unlike MPO harness cable, MPO Breakout cables are terminated with MPO connectors on both ends and can provide more possibilities for the existing 24-fiber cabling system. The 40/100G MPO Breakout cables eliminate the wasted fibers in current 40G transmission and upcoming 100G transmission. Compared to purchase and install separate Breakout cassettes, using MPO Breakout cables is a more cost-effective and lower-loss option.

We used MTP-24 cables for a 100G spine-leaf architecture. Signal integrity remained excellent even at the farthest reach, and insertion loss values were well.
