10m(33ft) LC UPC to LC UPC Duplex OS2 Single Mode PVC (OFNR) 2.0mm Fiber Optic Patch Cable
Fiber patch cables provide interconnect and cross-connect of applications over installations in entrance facilities, telecommunications rooms, data centers, and at the desk.
This OS2 fiber patch cable is ideal for connecting 1G/10G/25G/40G/100G/400G Ethernet connections. It is best suited for long distance application and can transport data for up to 10km at 1310nm, or up to 40km at 1550nm.
The bend insensitive fiber patch cable has less attenuation when bent or twisted compared with traditional fiber patch cable and this will make the installation and maintenance more efficient.

Q:

When I was looking through this product's specifications, I saw "tight-buffered" mentioned in the product title. Could you explain the advantages of choosing a tight-buffered product?

by 2***m on 2025-09-18 23:50:56

A:

A tight-buffered product refers to a fiber optic cable construction where each individual fiber is surrounded by its own protective buffer or coating. This construction provides an additional layer of protection to the fiber, shielding it from environmental factors such as moisture, dust, and physical damage. This makes the cable more durable and reliable, especially in harsh or demanding environments. Besides, it makes the cable more resistant to kinking and bending, allowing for easier handling and installation. You can read this encyclopedia to learn more about the benefits.

Q:

My customer asks if it is possible to protect the connectors when installing many jumpers at the same time. Could he use dust caps or pulling eyes to protect them?

by e***m on 2025-08-13 19:49:44

A:

Dust caps and pulling eyes. Our fiber connectors all come with dust caps by default, designed to protect the end face from being scratched or contaminated. Pulling eyes are wrapped around the connector and mainly used for long cable routing. It helps cables pass through tight areas and can avoid direct contact of the connector with the external environment.

The fiber is used between two managed network switches - one backstage and one at FOH location. The fiber minimizes any concern of potential losses due to distances, and performs flawlessly.
