The AICPLIGHT cables feel good overall, with a soft jacket that routes easily. We have deployed a few already, and the rest are waiting for new hardware.

FAQ
Ask a QuestionFind answers to common questions about our products.
Do I need dedicated cable management software to use this patch cable?
No. This is a standard LC to LC OM3 duplex patch cable and works without any software. For larger installations, you can still include it in your existing cabling documentation workflow.
Can I reverse the polarity if the link does not come up?
Yes. If the duplex clip is removable, the two LC connectors can be separated and repositioned to adjust A/B polarity. Always handle the connectors carefully and keep the end faces clean.
Can I use this cable with LC duplex multimode transceivers?
Yes. It is suitable for multimode transceivers that use a duplex LC interface, such as many SR or BiDi optical modules. It is not the correct cable for MPO/MTP-based SR4 links.
Should I choose OM3, OM4, or OM5 for my link?
OM3 is a practical choice for many existing short-reach multimode links. If you need longer multimode reach, higher bandwidth margin, or future SWDM support, OM4 or OM5 may be a better option.
Questions & Answers Title
Ask a questionThe cable quality is solid, and the connection has been stable. The custom length order took a little longer, but the final result matched what we ordered.
Packaging was clear, and each cable length was easy to identify. We installed quite a few on the patch panel, and everything has been working well so far.
