We used these MPO jumpers in a newly added server row, and the Type B polarity matched our existing modules. Routing was easier than expected, and the length worked out just right.

FAQ
Ask a QuestionFind answers to common questions about our products.
Can I use this cable with a 100G QSFP28 SR4 module?
Usually no. Most 100G QSFP28 SR4 modules use MPO/UPC interfaces, so a UPC-terminated OM4 MPO cable is normally the better match.
Why does a multimode cable use MPO/APC instead of MPO/UPC?
Some newer high-speed multimode modules use APC-polished MPO interfaces to reduce back reflection. This helps maintain stable performance in dense, high-speed parallel optical links.
Is this Type B polarity cable suitable for all MPO links?
Not always. Type B reverses the fiber positions end to end, so the whole link design must match Type B polarity, including modules, adapters, cassettes, and patch panels.
What should I check before installing this OFNP MPO/APC trunk cable?
Confirm the plenum rating is required for your cabling area, then verify polarity, connector gender, and APC interface compatibility. Keep the MPO end faces clean and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling during installation.
Questions & Answers Title
Ask a questionA previous batch from another supplier gave us random recognition issues on the switches. After switching to AICPLIGHT, we haven’t seen that problem again, and the install was straightforward.
These went into a high-density patch panel, and the cable size is well controlled without overfilling the tray. The connectors feel solid when plugging in, and our field techs liked them.
