FAQ
Ask a QuestionFind answers to common questions about our products.
Why does polarity matter if both ends are the same connector type?
Even with matching MTP connectors, the link can fail if Tx and Rx fibers are not aligned correctly. Polarity determines whether the optical signal reaches the correct receiving lane.
Is polarity tested before shipment?
AICPLIGHT can verify MTP trunk cables for correct polarity and fiber continuity before delivery. For Type B products, this helps reduce installation errors caused by incorrect fiber orientation.
What should I check when using this cable with cassettes or patch panels?
Make sure the trunk cable, adapters, cassettes, and patch cords follow the same polarity method. A Type B trunk may not work correctly if the rest of the channel is designed for a different polarity scheme.
Questions & Answers Title
Ask a questionAICPLIGHT shipped this faster than I expected. The patch cable looks clean and worked fine after installation.
Bought this for a short switch-to-switch connection, and the length was right. No extra setup needed, just plugged it in and used it.
