Yes. This cable is built with OSFP224 Finned Top connectors on both ends, designed for systems with compatible OSFP224 ports and cage clearance.
It supports an aggregate data rate of 1.6Tb/s through 8 electrical lanes, with each lane running at 200G PAM4. This makes it suitable for very high-bandwidth short-reach interconnects.
It is mainly used for short-distance switch-to-switch links in AI, HPC, and high-density data center networks. It is especially useful where two OSFP224-based switches need a direct 1.6T electrical connection.
The active copper design supports short-reach links up to 2.5 m. It is intended for rack-level or adjacent-equipment connections, not long-distance cabling.
Used it for a short switch-to-switch connection. It was easier to route than I expected and has been running fine for a few days.
The AICPLIGHT cable worked well with our existing setup. Testing went smoothly and the signal has been steady.
Good value and simple to install. The cable is a little stiff, but it works fine for short links.
