Can I plug this 100G QSFP28 AOC into a QSFP56 port?
Yes, if the QSFP56 host port supports 100G QSFP28 backward operation and is configured for 100G mode. The port capability and firmware settings should be confirmed before deployment.
Can each end of the AOC be coded for a different device brand?
Yes. AICPLIGHT can provide dual compatibility coding, such as one end for a server adapter and the other end for a switch, based on the device models provided by the customer.
Is this cable suitable for 100G links up to 100m?
Yes. AICPLIGHT 100G QSFP28 AOC is suitable for short-reach 100G connections up to 100m, commonly used between switches, servers, storage devices, or NICs inside data centers.
Can a 100G QSFP28 AOC be replaced by a 100G DSFP AOC?
