In many cases, QSFP-DD ports can support QSFP56 modules or cables, but this depends on the switch design and port configuration. Please confirm that the QSFP-DD port supports 200G QSFP56 mode before deployment.
Yes. This 200G QSFP56 AOC is suitable for short-reach links up to 100m, such as server-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections within a data center.
The maximum power consumption is typically below 4.35W, making it suitable for high-density 200G short-reach connections. Good airflow around the switch or server ports is still recommended.
It is commonly used between 200G access switches, servers, storage systems, or NICs with QSFP56 ports. It is especially useful when short-distance, plug-and-play 200G connectivity is needed.
The supply schedule was clearly communicated, and bulk delivery arrived on time. That matters a lot for our phased rollout plan.
When we had an unstable link on-site, the support team helped us check the port and cable settings. The response was fast, and the issue was narrowed down pretty quickly.
Much lighter than traditional DACs, so routing it in the rack was easier. It also doesn’t block as much airflow, which helps in the cold aisle.
