Find answers to common questions about our products.

Do the two QSFP56 branches have to connect to the same device?

No. The two 200G branches can connect to different NICs, servers, or switch ports, as long as the 400G host port is configured for the correct breakout mode.

I already have one 400G QSFP-DD transceiver and two 200G QSFP56 transceivers. Is this AOC still the right choice?

Usually no. An AOC already includes the optical components at both ends, so it is used directly between host ports; if you already have optical transceivers, you should use the appropriate fiber patch or breakout fiber cable instead.

Can this cable run in a standard data center equipment room?

Yes. This type of cable is typically designed for commercial operating environments, such as 0 to 70°C. Proper airflow around the switch and server ports should still be maintained.

Is this cable suitable for 10m, 20m, or 30m breakout links?

Yes. It is suitable for short-reach 400G-to-2×200G links within racks, adjacent racks, or the same row, with supported lengths up to 30m depending on the selected configuration.

J***d Confirmed Purchase
5.0

The actual product looks just like the pictures, and the build feels solid. Once connected, the link stayed stable, so we’re happy with this purchase.

B***v Confirmed Purchase
4.5

This cable solved our connection issue between equipment from different brands. Compatibility on both ends was fine, and deployment went smoother than expected.

O***s Confirmed Purchase

It works nicely between our QSFP-DD switch and QSFP56 NICs. Cabling looks cleaner than using modules plus jumpers, and we may buy more for the next expansion.
