Yes. For two DGX Spark systems placed close together, AICPLIGHT 200G QSFP56 DAC can be used for a short, direct 200GbE connection, provided both ports are configured for the same Ethernet mode.
In many cases, 400G QSFP-DD ports can support QSFP56 modules or cables at 200G, but this depends on the switch port design and configuration. Make sure the port supports 200G QSFP56 operation or the required breakout/downspeed mode.
Passive 200G QSFP56 DACs are generally recommended for short links up to 3m. For 5m or longer connections, AICPLIGHT recommends using a 200G AOC or optical transceivers with fiber patch cables.
Used it between two DGX Spark systems and it came up pretty quickly. Ran a few transfer tests and everything looked stable.
The cable feels better built than I expected, and it’s easy to use for short runs. Packaging was clean and simple too.
This AICPLIGHT cable worked fine on our 200G ports. No link drops so far, and latency looks very low.
