Can AICPLIGHT cables be used together with original vendor cables in the same switch?

Yes. AICPLIGHT high-speed cables are designed to follow industry specifications and can interoperate with original cables when the port type, speed, and breakout mode match.

If I only use three of the four breakout ends, will the unused branch affect the others?

No. After the 800G port is split into 4×200G logical ports, each branch works independently. An unused branch will not normally affect the active links.

Do I need to configure the switch port before using this breakout cable?

In most cases, yes. The 800G OSFP port needs to be set to 4×200G breakout mode so that each QSFP112 branch can be recognized as an independent 200G link.

When should I choose this passive DAC instead of an active copper cable or AOC?

This passive DAC is a good choice for short, low-power, low-latency rack-level connections. For longer copper reach, an active copper cable may be more suitable; for longer optical links, transceivers with breakout fiber are usually preferred.
