Yes. AICPLIGHT 1.6T OSFP224 ACC uses OSFP224 finned-top connectors on both ends, making it suitable for compatible OSFP224 cages that rely on the top fins for heat dissipation.
The cable supports up to 1.6Tb/s aggregate bandwidth through 8 electrical lanes, with each lane operating at 200G PAM4. It is designed for high-density InfiniBand XDR interconnects.
It may support backward operation when the host ports, firmware, and speed configuration allow it. For mixed 1.6T, 800G, or 400G deployments, AICPLIGHT recommends checking the exact device model and port mode first.
The maximum reach is up to 2.5m. It is best suited for short links such as in-rack or adjacent-equipment connections.
The link came up quickly after plugging in the cable, and testing went smoother than expected. The build quality feels solid, and it bends a bit better than a standard copper cable.
We used it between a new switch and servers, and it has been stable so far. The reach is more flexible than a passive DAC, and routing it inside the rack was not difficult.
