How far can this 800G to 2x400G OSFP ACC run?
This active copper breakout cable can support copper links up to 5m, depending on the selected length and host configuration. It is suitable when a passive DAC is too short but an optical solution is not required.
Can this AICPLIGHT cable be used alongside original NVIDIA/Mellanox IB cables on QM9700 NDR switches?
Yes. AICPLIGHT InfiniBand ACC cables are designed for standards-based interoperability and can be used with original vendor cables in compatible NDR deployments.
Why is the switch end Finned Top while the server ends are Flat Top?
The Finned Top OSFP end is typically used on high-density switch ports that need integrated cooling. The Flat Top OSFP ends are intended for compatible NIC-side OSFP ports where the host provides the required thermal structure.
