Yes. After breakout is configured on the host side, each branch is recognized as a separate 200G logical link. The four branches do not share one single 200G channel.
No. ACC mainly uses active equalization, while AEC typically provides stronger signal processing such as retiming. ACC is a good choice when you need a longer copper reach with low latency and lower power than a retimed solution.
Yes, it uses more power than a passive DAC because of the built-in equalizer. Typical power consumption is about 1.7W at the 800G end and about 0.3W per 200G branch end.
Because this is a 1-to-4 copper breakout cable with OSFP ends, enough space should be reserved for branch routing and bend radius. Avoid sharp bends or pulling stress near the OSFP connectors during installation.
Delivery was really fast, and we appreciated that. We needed extra cables at the last minute, and AICPLIGHT didn’t hold up our installation window.
The labels on both ends were clear, so the onsite team didn’t mix anything up. Small detail, but it matters when you’re wiring multiple ports.
We used it for a short cross-rack run, and the length worked well. The cable is a bit stiff, so leaving extra bend room makes the routing easier.
