Yes. AICPLIGHT 800G OSFP AEC cables may use different AWG sizes depending on the length and electrical design. Shorter cables are usually more flexible, while longer versions may require a thicker gauge to help maintain signal integrity.
ACC typically uses linear equalization or amplification to compensate for signal loss. AEC uses retimer-based signal processing, offering stronger signal recovery for high-speed 800G electrical links, usually with higher power and cost than ACC.
Yes. AICPLIGHT 800G OSFP to OSFP AEC is designed for short-reach within-rack or nearby cross-rack links where optical transceivers are not necessary. Available length options depend on the specific configuration and should be confirmed before ordering.
For short-reach connections, AEC can reduce cabling complexity and overall link cost compared with using two optical modules plus fiber. It is especially useful in AI and HPC clusters where many 800G links are deployed in dense rack environments.
