Can AICPLIGHT 800G OSFP DACs be used together with NVIDIA original InfiniBand cables?

Yes. AICPLIGHT InfiniBand DAC cables are designed for standards-based NDR environments and can be used in networks where original NVIDIA IB cables are already deployed. For best results, keep the same port type, link speed, and supported cable length on both ends.

What is the difference between this passive DAC and an 800G OSFP ACC?

A passive DAC uses a direct copper connection without active equalization, making it a low-latency, low-power, and cost-effective choice for very short links. An ACC adds equalization inside the cable ends to support longer reaches, but it usually consumes more power than a passive DAC.

How long can this 800G OSFP passive DAC be used?
