Yes. AICPLIGHT InfiniBand DAC cables are designed for standards-based NDR environments and can be used in networks where original NVIDIA IB cables are already deployed. For best results, keep the same port type, link speed, and supported cable length on both ends.
A passive DAC uses a direct copper connection without active equalization, making it a low-latency, low-power, and cost-effective choice for very short links. An ACC adds equalization inside the cable ends to support longer reaches, but it usually consumes more power than a passive DAC.
This passive DAC is intended for short-reach connections, typically up to 3 m depending on the host platform and cable specification. For longer 800G OSFP copper links, an ACC option may be more suitable.
Yes. AICPLIGHT 800G OSFP passive DAC cables are built for high-speed InfiniBand NDR signal integrity requirements. If your project has a specific insertion loss limit, please check the datasheet or contact AICPLIGHT for detailed test data.
Tested the cable right after it arrived, and it was recognized without any issue. Works well for short-reach links, and the latency looks good too.
