Can this 25G LR module help with a future upgrade to 100G?

It cannot be used directly as a 100G module. However, if your network already uses suitable single-mode LC cabling, the cabling may be reusable for some future 100G single-mode solutions, depending on the chosen 100G optics and link design.

What tests are performed before shipment?

AICPLIGHT 25G LR modules are tested for compatibility, optical power, wavelength, eye diagram, sensitivity, temperature performance, and link stability. These tests help verify stable operation in supported host devices.

What should I check before deploying it on a 10km link?

Use single-mode Duplex LC/UPC fiber and make sure both ends use matching 25G LR optics. Also check fiber cleanliness, link loss, and DOM receive power to avoid weak-signal or unstable-link issues.
