Each OSFP cage on the MQM9700 contains two independent logical InfiniBand ports. As a result, 32 physical OSFP cages provide 64 NDR 400G ports. For fabric planning, count logical ports rather than only the number of front-panel cages.
Yes. The MQM9700 supports multiple InfiniBand link speeds, allowing ports to operate at the speed required by the connected adapter, cable, or transceiver. Before deployment, confirm the intended speed, breakout method, and port configuration for each link.
P2C means Power-to-Connector airflow: air enters from the power-supply side and exits from the connector side. Install the switch so that its airflow direction matches the rack’s hot-aisle/cold-aisle design, with sufficient clearance at the port side for exhaust air.
