No. The Q3200-RA integrates two fully independent 36-port switches in one 2U chassis, with 28.8Tb/s of switching capacity per switch. It should be designed as two separate fabric planes, making it suitable for dual-plane AI networks, isolated compute and storage fabrics, or two independent networks sharing the same rack space.
Each internal switch has 18 OSFP cages, and each cage provides two independent 800Gb/s links. This gives 36 800Gb/s ports per internal switch, or 72 logical 800Gb/s ports per chassis. However, the ports belong to two independent switches and cannot be pooled into one 72-port switching fabric.
Not all ports do. The Q3200-RA supports port splitting, but ports A17, A18, B17, and B18 do not support split mode or LACC (Linear Active Copper Cable). Links requiring breakout connectivity or LACC should be assigned to other ports during cable planning.
