Is MCX515A-CCAT still a good choice for new 100G deployments?

It is better positioned for maintaining, expanding, or replacing adapters in existing 100GbE ConnectX-5 environments. NVIDIA states that the ConnectX-5 product line has moved to end-of-life, so new high-performance builds should also compare newer ConnectX generations.

How is MCX515A-CCAT different from MCX516A-CCAT?

MCX515A-CCAT is the single-port QSFP28 version, while MCX516A-CCAT is the dual-port QSFP28 version. If the server only needs one 100G uplink, MCX515A-CCAT avoids the dual-port PCIe Gen3 aggregate bandwidth concern seen on MCX516A-CCAT.

What is the difference between MCX515A-CCAT and MCX515A-CCUT?

Both are single-port 100GbE QSFP28 PCIe Gen3 x16 cards. MCX515A-CCUT is the UEFI-enabled variant for Arm and x86, while MCX515A-CCAT is the standard tall-bracket model.
