HDAT is the 200G-class version, supporting HDR InfiniBand and 200GbE. ECAT is the 100G-class version, supporting HDR100, EDR IB, and 100GbE, so it should not be selected for full HDR 200G links.
Yes, this is the standard dual-port QSFP56 HDAT model for two HDR/200GbE-capable links.
Yes. NVIDIA lists EDR, HDR100, and HDR under the supported InfiniBand data rates.
For short 200GbE server-to-switch links, 200G QSFP56 DAC or AOC is usually the first choice. For multimode fiber, 200G QSFP56 SR4 is the most directly aligned option because NVIDIA lists 200GBASE-SR4 among the supported Ethernet protocols for this adapter family.
HDAT is the standard PCIe x16 stand-up card. HCAT refers to Socket Direct designs, while HDAL is the cold-plate version for specific liquid-cooled Intel Server System D50TNP platforms.
