0.5m (2ft) NVIDIA (InfiniBand) Compatible 400G OSFP Flat Top to 400G QSFP-DD Passive Direct Attach Copper Twinax Cable
The NVIDIA (InfiniBand) 400G OSFP to 400G QSFP-DD DAC provides a 400G copper direct-attach solution with a Flat-top (OSFP-RHS) form factor, suitable for very short links and offer a cost-effective way to establish a 400-Gigabit link between 400G ports of switches/routers within racks and across adjacent racks. This DAC is designed with ultra-low loss materials, square rings, twisted pair cable 8 wires and shell extension construction for superior mechanical properties and bending performance. It is tested in actual switching systems to ensure optimal signal integrity and the best end-to-end performance, ideal for SDN, ML, and Cloud Computing.
Note: This 400G QSFP-DD end operates on 4x100G-PAM4 modulation, making it suitable for downspeeding on 800G QSFP-DD switches that support channel disabling (i.e., operating with only 4 lanes enabled). It is not compatible with 400G QSFP-DD switches that use 8x50G-PAM4 modulation.

Q:

What is the difference between HDR and NDR InfiniBand cables?

by f***m on 2025-07-10 09:15:48

A:

HDR (High Data Rate) supports up to 200Gb/s per port, while NDR (Next Data Rate) can handle 400Gb/s. Both are used for high-performance computing, but NDR is designed for newer-generation systems requiring ultra-high bandwidth.
