The 400GBASE-SR4 OSFP transceiver is designed to support high-speed data transmission over multimode fiber (MMF) with a maximum link length of up to 100 meters. Utilizing an MTP/MPO-12 connector, this transceiver ensures high bandwidth and efficient signal transmission for 400 Gigabit Ethernet applications. Compliant with the OSFP MSA, IEEE 802.3bs protocol, and 400GAUI-4 standards, the 400GBASE-SR8 provides a reliable, scalable solution for modern data centers, cloud networks, and 400G Ethernet deployments. The transceiver operates by carrying the 400 Gigabit Ethernet signal across eight individual wavelengths, with the multiplexing and demultiplexing of these wavelengths managed within the device. This technology enables optimized bandwidth utilization and supports high-performance, long-distance communication across multimode fiber. Ideal for demanding environments such as data centers and cloud infrastructures, the 400GBASE-SR4 OSFP transceiver is a robust and efficient solution for next-generation networking and high-capacity data transport.
