The OSFP224-DR4-800G-FL is an 800Gb/s single-mode optical transceiver supporting the XDR 800Gb/s InfiniBand protocol. The line rate is 200Gb/s using Pulse Amplitude Modulation of 4- channels denoted as 200G-PAM4. It is used to link the Quantum-X800 QM3x00 switches using Twin-port OSFP224 2x 800Gb/s transceivers to the dual 800Gb/s ConnectX-8 mezzanine card located internally in the GB200-based, liquid cooled system. The length of OSFP224 DR4 is up to 500 meters over SMF MTP/MPO-12 APC cable. This transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3dj, CMIS Rev 5.2 and OSFP MSA Specification Rev 5.1. The built-in digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) allows access to real-time operating parameters. It's suitable for 800G InfiniBand, Data Centers and Cloud Networks and supports interconnection between the same type of modules.
